A one-day training workshop for “Television and Radio News Announcers” was organized by Lakehouse Media Academy on August 26, 2023. Chaminda Gamage, an announcer and senior journalist, along with National TV news conjuror Chanaka Inoj, National TV news presenter Nishadhi Bandaranaike, National TV presenter Wasantha Jayasinghaarachchi, and presenter Indu Manoja Jayasinghe participated as resource persons.
